Continental French Chromatic “C” button accordion,
Anglo concertina, Diatonic button accordion, penny whistle etc.
Christiaan also plays a variety of other instruments e.g. Alto Clarinet,
Saxophones, wind, brass and string.
Participated with, and won several busking competitions.

*Recent public performance “Reedy River” in Coffs Harbour Botanic gardens as
instrument Soloist and backing actors and singers with Accordion, Flute, and
Concertina.
*Participating with a show in Coffs Harbour RSL, mixed performance
backing singers and dancers on Accordion, Concertina, Saxophone and Alto
clarinet.
*Sound track “La Seine” on accordion in the film “The Quiet American”, Lead actor Michael Caine
*Sound track "Brown jug Polka" on accordion in SBS documentary “Hepzibah”
*Involved in the Australian film “Dark City” rebuilding an accordion and
teaching US Lead actor _William Hurt_ how to play the accordion for
this film role.
*Accordion playing role in Australian documentary
“They came, they saw, they concreted”.
*Playing accordion in one episode of a well known Asian soap opera and
backing actors.
*TV Documentary on “Healthy, Wealthy & Wise” which was repeated by popular
demand, 6 minutes episode on TV showing repairs, how to play instruments and
demonstrations.*
*Sound track in Australian documentary “Murder Call” Playing an 1875 Anglo
Concertina and guiding actors with using the concertina.
*Several short TV performances on Channels 7, 9, 10, e.g. the Footy show,
Morning show.
*Christiaan also holds workshops in maintenance and repairs of musical
instruments, Teaching adults how to play instruments. He has a vast
collection of unusual and interesting musical instruments in his private
collection and holds informative exhibitions explaining and demonstrating
these instrument. Some of the instruments can also be acquired as props
for films and TV.
